My final thesis was about the design of a new battering ram in cooperation with the Dutch police.
In a biomechanic research the movements of the users using the existing rams were analysed.

While pressing the new ram onto the door a mechanism is un-locked and an internal mass is fired towards the door. The mass will generate an impact on the door and will break it.
